New MRX
MRX averages the responses on the manager recommendation question (0-10) and convert the score to a scale of -100 to 100. Average prevents drastic movements in a manager's score
Helps managers understand where do they stand as compared to other managers in the startup ecosystem Median of MRX Percentile position amongst 10k managers.
MRX of 8.2 (on a scale of 0-10) doesn’t provoke managers enough to take action on it.
We are wired to consider anything more than 80% as good.
Colouring logic of MRX being different from other questions given the scale is same (0-10).
Creates confusion why 8.5 is green for MRX whereas 7.5 is green for other questions
NPS calculation framework (%promoters - %detractors) is very noisy for small teams
60% of managers have 7 or less than 7 direct reports (DRs)
For a team size of 4: if one employee becomes passive from promoter, mNPS would drop by 25 pts
Not correlating with with underlying questions in the manager theme
If all the DRs has given 8 rating on the manager recommendation question (0-10 scale), then mNPS would be 0 (red) and scores on the rest of the manager questions are amber or green
Creates confusion for managers: Amber/Green on all the questions but red on mNPS
Note: for surveys between Aug - 6th Oct 2022, MRX 2.0 generated scores were in multiples of 4, however, this has been resolved for all surveys after 7th Oct 2022.
All reports will be converted to the New MRX, however, you can always toggle back to view the original computation.
For any older reports that were computed in MRX 1.0, select 'View old version of MRX' at the top of the managers section in Overview.
This will open-up a slide-out that reflects the MRX 1.0 scores for the list of managers
For any older reports that were computed in mNPS, select 'View old mNPS data' at the top of the managers section in Overview.
This will open-up a slide-out that reflects the mNPS scores for the list of managers
