# Jira

The **Jira Integration with PeopleCues** syncs a project's progress with OKRs and performance reviews, ensuring real-time visibility and alignment. It enhances accountability, streamlines workflows, and reduces manual updates.

### Steps to integrate Jira with PeopleCues

* Only Admins will be able to create the API token.
* Log in to <https://id.atlassian.com/manage-profile/security/api-tokens>.
* Click **Create API token**.

* From the dialog that appears, enter a memorable and concise Label for your token and click **Create**.

* Click **Copy** to clipboard, and save the token as required.

**Note**:

* For security reasons, it isn't possible to view the token after closing the creation dialog. if necessary, create a new token.
* You should store the token securely, just as for any password.
