Permissions
This section allows admins to define role-based permissions for Managers and Employees across various actions in the objective-setting process.
These permissions ensure that the right users can create, edit, and track objectives based on their role, while maintaining accountability and data integrity.
The following actions can be configured independently for Managers and Employees:
Create Objectives
Controls whether the users can create Independent objectives or not.
Create KRs
Grants permission to create Key Results under objectives.
Edit (Objectives + KRs)
Controls whether the user can edit existing Objectives and Key Results.
Check-in (Objectives + KRs)
Determines if the user can make check-ins on Objectives and Key Results.
For Create Objectives, only the following apply:
Independent – Can create independent objectives
None – Cannot create any objectives
For Create KRs, Edit, and Check-in, the following options are available:
None – No access
Independent – Access only for independent (non-company-aligned) objectives
Company – Access only for company-aligned objectives
Company + Independent – Full access to both objective types
Note: Manager permissions cannot override or supersede employee permissions.
