Creating an Objective

Create an objective to define and track goals for the org's growth.

To create an objective:

Step 1: Go to the Objectives tab from the left-hand side menu.

Step 2: Click on Create Objectives button on the top right-hand corner of the window.

Step 3: Enter the Title of your objective, its , Time Period, Date, Owner, , , , , and manage

Check-in the Company Objective box in case the objective is applicable company-wide.

Company objectives are the strategic priorities at a company-level that serve as key levers to achieve the long-term vision. They are used by the Founders for top-down goal setting.

Note: You can also click on the " See sample OKRs" option in the pop-up window to have a look at sample OKRs suggested by PeopleCues to create objectives effectively.

Step 4: Click on Save button at the bottom of the pop-up window to finish.

Step 1: Navigate to the Objectives tab from the left-hand side menu.

Step 2: Click on the Create Objective button located in the top-right corner of the window.

Step 3: Fill in the required details for your objective:

  • Success Metric - The measurable indicator used to track progress or success.

  • Time Period - The start and end dates for the objective.

  • Owner - The person responsible for achieving the objective.

  • Objective Visibility - Controls who can view the objective.

  • Teams - The teams or pods associated with the objective.

  • Contributors - Individuals who support or help achieve the objective or its key results.

  • Description - A brief explanation or context for the objective.

  • Business Alignment - Links the objective to a higher-level goal or company priority.

  • Tags - Keywords to categorize or filter objectives easily.

  • Weightage - The importance or priority assigned to the objective, often as a percentage.

If the objective applies company-wide, check the Company Objective box.

Company Objectives are high-level strategic goals set by Founders for top-down alignment and long-term vision. Only Goals Admins can create Company Objectives.

You can also click on See sample OKRs in the pop-up window to view suggestions by PeopleCues for creating effective objectives.

Step 4: Once all details are entered, click Save at the bottom of the pop-up window to complete the process.
