# Manager Review

Managers play a pivotal role in the review cycle. They begin the process by setting clear expectations, revisiting the employee’s goals and responsibilities, and reviewing the competencies relevant to the role. Their responsibilities include:

* Providing regular, constructive feedback to support performance improvement
* Offering guidance to help employees navigate workflows effectively
* Setting objectives and identifying peers for evaluation, giving them significant influence in the process
