Talent card

Talent card helps leaders & managers understand an employee's performance in the org.

A talent card encapsulates a detailed information portfolio of an employee, including the recent rating and comment given by their manager to enable line managers , HRBPs and Performance administrators to make certain types of decisions.

Talent cards are most essential to help calibration committee take a decision on the employee's promotion status or final rating for the appraisal cycle

Features of an employee talent card

Since the talent card is a summarised portfolio of the employee in the org, it allows managers to access a variety of information:

  • Final rating and comment by Manager This section summarizes the current review cycle's response for the employee with the final rating and overall feedback given by their manager.

  • View form access From here you can view the detailed and granular level inputs from manager, self and peer provided in the current cycle.

  • Rating discussion In case of any disjunct between the manager's rating and the skip manager's evaluation, a rating discussion section documents the negotiation. it also tells if the skip manager accepted or rejected the rating.

  • Employee's historical performance graph A historical graph maps an employee's performance over the particular reviews previously conducted in the org. It reflects the career and performance progression of the employee.(Refer Fig 1)

  • MRX details MRX score trend over time and the theme based scores are also shown for the respective manager (Refer Fig 2)

To view an employee's talent card:

Step 1: Scroll down through the Calibration tab in the Ongoing Review page and click on the Talent Card button that appears when you hover against the employee's name.

Step 2: You can now view detailed employee information and performance history in the org and take reference for the given rating. To revise the employee's final rating or promotion status, click on the Edit final rating or promotion status option. To go to the employee form click on View Form.
