Rule Based Selection
Rules for Enabling the OKR Module for Specific Users:
Enabled for Everyone (Default): The module will be available to all employees.
Include Specific Users: Only selected employees will have access to the module.
Exclude Specific Users: The module is enabled for everyone except the employees explicitly excluded.
1. Including a specific subset of users
Click on ‘Include by user attributes’ This lets you define access based on employee properties like department, location, etc.
Set the segment criteria You can choose multiple attributes (e.g., Department = Technology or Product and Location = Mumbai). Only employees who match all selected criteria will be included in that segment.
Click Add Once your criteria are defined, click ‘Add’ to save that segment.
Add more segments if needed To include other groups of employees, click ‘Include another segment’. Employees who match any of the segments will be granted access.
Include individuals manually (if needed) If someone doesn’t fall under any segment, you can still give them access by selecting their name directly.
If you select multiple properties, only employees who meet all the specified criteria will be included. For example, in the below image, if you select Department = Technology or Product and Location = Mumbai, only employees who meet both conditions will be added.

2. Excluding a specific subset of users
If you want to exclude only a specific subset of employees from accessing the module, use the Exclusion Criteria section below. The process for selecting these employees is the same as in the inclusion flow. Employees added here will not have access to the module, even if they are part of an included segment.

With these rules in place, if an employee’s properties (such as location or team) change in the system, their access to the module will be automatically re-evaluated based on the updated attributes.
