Getting Started on OKRs
Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) are a simple yet powerful framework to set and track goals within organizations. OKRs help teams focus on what matters most, align efforts across functions, and measure progress with tangible outcomes.
Objective
Objectives are clear, inspiring, and qualitative statements about what you want to achieve. It should be ambitious, motivating, and easy to understand.
Example:
“Improve customer satisfaction across all touchpoints”
“Become the market leader in mobile app engagement”
Key Results
Key Results are measurable outcomes that indicate the achievement of the Objective. Each Objective typically has 3–5 Key Results, which are quantifiable and time-bound.
Example:
Increase NPS from 45 to 60 by Q4
Reduce customer support response time to under 2 hours
Achieve a 90% customer retention rate
