Create Review & Launch

Create your first performance review cycle with the following steps.

The reviews segment in PeopleCues allows a performance administrator to measure the skills and performance of employees in the org on a variety of customisable touch-points.

The review module access is only provided to a performance administrator or a super Admin.

Specified below is a succinct journey of creating a review as a performance administrator. To follow a detailed journey, see here.

Creating a performance cycle review is a 7 step process:

Step 1: Go to Reviews option from the menu bar (left-hand side of the tab) and click on Create Review option to begin your review journey.

Step 2: Fill the necessary Review details by giving a unique name to the review and adding detailed instructions to assist employees in understanding the review.

Step 3: Select the Review type based on your preference for reviewee inputs. By default, the manager is the reviewer for each cycle. The second stage of the cycle also allows you to specify the employees who must participate in the review cycle, include Sign Offs, and make Additional Review selection. To read more about selecting Reviewers and Reviewees, see here.

Step 4: Create the Timeline for the review cycle. Define details like the Announcement date for the review cycle, its start date, review submission date and manager review details to continue.

Learn more about customising the timeline here.

Step 5: Select the Questions module for the review cycle to evaluate the performance of an employee. You can select all or any of the four types of module options - Objectives, Competency, Functional Skills and/or Open Questions. Every section allows room for modification and customization to help you flesh out a more inclusive and diverse review cycle.

To know more about the Questions and each of the categories, see here.

Step 6: Determine how would you like to set up the summary section . You can decide to enable/disable the final rating and even configure the final summary question. You can specify the persona who may provide the final rating and the visibility settings for the same.

The Summary tab also allows you to specify whether you want System Ratings as part of the review cycle to eliminate any biases in the org.

Step 7: The final step before previewing and launching the review is to determine whether to set promotion and training needs questions for the review cycle. PeopleCues also allows you to define next level Justification questions if the promotion recommendation is a YES. Visibility level configurations is provided for both Promotion and Training needs section.

Step 8: Preview all the inputs for the review cycle and click on Create Review button to launch.
