Why are calibration notes needed?
Performance calibration involves merging multiple Excel sheets from various groups to fit a bell curve and identify top/bottom performers. This problem is solved through Calibrations Notes where you can create set of employees you want to calibrate together and add the committee members.
The manager /HRBP/performance admin takes notes during the calibrations meeting about the feedback of the committee and these notes get lost after the meeting.
The promotion process is complicated by differing promotion files from managers.
Calibration Notes solve these problems by allowing a seamless note-taking experience for all the committee members. It also enables the admins to conduct calibrations in asynchronous manner.
Accessing Calibration Notes
Click on Talent Card to see a summary of the employee's feedback. Click on View Form to find the Calibration Notes button where the committee can collaboratively write the calibration notes.
Creating a Calibrations Set:
Open a review and click on + Calibration Sets button. Add the name of calibration set, names of people to be calibrated and name of the committee members involved. Then click on Save Changes.
View a Calibrations Set:
Select one of the existing sets by clicking on View Calibration Sets and selecting a calibrations set.
Use manage columns to add the desired parameter columns to the employee table which makes it easy to shortlist employees based on these attributes. These parameters are based around current review, past review and demographics.
