Auto roll up
Parent objective check-ins are now automatically updated by rolling up the latest progress from the immediate child Key Results.
Why we created this:
OKRs have scaled tremendously, and employees now use them to track company priorities, team goals, and business unit objectives.
With growth, the need for a more efficient and scalable process became clear.
Auto roll-up reduces manual effort for objective owners in calculating progress, letting them focus on the Why and How of achieving outcomes.
Configuring auto roll-up
Before you get started, the following are the rules that auto-roll up operates on

Adding auto roll-up to objective
Open Objective Details:
Navigate to the details page of the objective you want to enable auto roll-up for.

Enable Auto Roll-Up: Click the auto roll-up icon to get started.
Choose Roll-Up Type: Decide which type of auto roll-up calculation you want (average or sum).

Example

Example of Average objective - Average of KRs progress. Suitable for SLA/TAT objectives.

Select Contributing KRs: Choose the Key Results that will contribute to the objective’s progress.
Assign Weights (if using Average): For the Average roll-up, assign appropriate weights to each KR to define their contribution to the parent objective.
