Anonymity in eNPS Surveys

How does anonymity work in eNPS surveys? We take this seriously.

Anonymity is one of our core promises to users and it creates a safe space for users to share honest feedback. We do the following things to ensure anonymity:

  • Individual answers are never displayed. Only aggregate responses will be reported and accessible to the leadership & HR team. PeopleCues only unlocks aggregated feedback for a team/ manager if there are 3 or more responses

  • Text feedback is anonymous by default. We share the manager-level text feedback with HR teams (just the feedback - not the names of people who have given feedback). Only those managers would be there in the list who have 3 or more responses.

Here is the detailed document on how we protect anonymity in the reporting.

If it's anonymous, then why does survey respondent have to log in on PeopleCues?

With log-in, it helps PeopleCues to connect your survey responses to various information in the organization’s employee data system that allows the organization to slice and filter data by demographics such as tenure, department, or location.

This allows your managers and leaders the ability to slice and filter data in a way that allows them to understand the various nuances of their organization. By connecting results to data that your organization already has access to, they can take a more targeted approach to improve the employee experience.

However, there are permissions set up on the backend of the survey that only allows HR teams & leadership to see aggregated results, which prevents the ability to directly or indirectly identify your response.

Log-in also ensure respondents can fill only once which is not true with non-log-in experience.
