Success Metric
A metric is a measurable indicator used to track progress and evaluate the organization’s performance. A metric should be quantifiable, easy to understand, and directly tied to the objective’s outcome.
Components of a Success Metric
Metric Name A clear, descriptive name that reflects what is being measured (e.g., Number of Cities).
Start Value The current value at the beginning of the objective.
Target Value The value you aim to achieve by the end of the objective.
Time Period The duration during which progress is tracked (for example: monthly, quarterly, or custom dates).
How Progress Is Calculated
Progress is automatically tracked based on:
The Start Value (where you are today)
The Target Value (what you want to achieve)
The Time Period (by when you want to achieve it)
As check-ins are made, the platform calculates and displays progress against the objective.
Example
If the objective is to expand client onboarding from 10 cities to 100 cities in India during the quarter, then:
Metric Name: Number of Cities
Start Value: 10
Target Value: 100
Time Period: 1st Jan - 31st March (one quarter)
Progress will be calculated automatically as the number of onboarded cities increases over the defined time period.
