Calibration Committee

A Calibration Committee is a group of designated reviewers responsible for evaluating and aligning employee ratings within a specific Calibration Set. The committee typically includes a mix of leaders such as Line Managers, Skip Managers, HRBPs, and Performance Administrators who work together to ensure that performance assessments are fair, consistent, and calibrated across teams.

The committee collaborates to:

  • Review employee performance data, Talent Cards, and analytics

  • Discuss rating discrepancies and ensure alignment across managers

  • Provide inputs through Calibration Notes

  • Approve or recommend changes to final ratings and promotion decisions

  • Ensure that evaluation standards are applied consistently across the organization

By involving multiple stakeholders, the Calibration Committee brings diverse perspectives, reduces bias, and strengthens the integrity of the overall performance review process.
