Calibration Notes
Calibration Notes allow committee members to collaboratively capture key insights during calibration discussions. These notes ensure that important feedback is not lost and can be directly used to refine final ratings, promotion decisions, and manager comments.
Challenges during calibrations
Calibration Notes address several challenges commonly faced during appraisal cycles:
Traditional calibration requires merging multiple spreadsheets to align with bell curves and identify top/bottom performers.
Feedback captured by managers, HRBPs, or admins during meetings often becomes fragmented or gets misplaced.
Promotion decisions are slowed down by inconsistent promotion files across teams.
Committee members may not always be available simultaneously, making synchronous calibration difficult.
Calibration Notes centralize all feedback, allow multiple contributors to share inputs, and support asynchronous calibration saving significant time for the organization.
