Permissions

This section allows admins to define role-based permissions for Managers and Employees across various actions in the objective-setting process.

These permissions ensure that the right users can create, edit, and track objectives based on their role, while maintaining accountability and data integrity.

The following actions can be configured independently for Managers and Employees:

Company level objectives can only be created by Goals Admins

Permission	Description
Create Objectives	Controls whether the users can create Independent objectives or not.
Create KRs	Grants permission to create Key Results under objectives.
Edit (Objectives + KRs)	Controls whether the user can edit existing Objectives and Key Results.
Check-in (Objectives + KRs)	Determines if the user can make check-ins on Objectives and Key Results.

Following are the options available:

• None – No access

• Independent – Access only for independent (non-company-aligned) objectives

• Company – Access only for company-aligned objectives

• Company + Independent – Full access to both objective types

Note: For objective creation only none and independent options are available.

Note: Manager permissions cannot override or supersede employee permissions.
