Deleting/Dropping Objectives

1. Permanently Deleting Objectives

Deleting an objective completely removes it from the system along with all its data and history.

Steps to Delete

  1. Go to Objectives → My Objectives

  2. Find the objective you want to remove

  3. Click the three-dot (⋮) menu

  4. Select Delete

  5. Choose one of the following options:

    • A. Delete objective and its key results The objective and its entire tree will be permanently deleted.

    • B. Delete only the objective The objective will be deleted and all its key results will be converted into independent objectives.

  6. Click Confirm Delete

2. Drop an Objective

Dropping an objective keeps all its details and history, but marks it as inactive or out of scope. This is useful for objectives that are no longer relevant or already completed.

Steps to Drop

  1. Click the three-dot (⋮) menu next to the objective

  2. Select Delete

  3. Click Drop Objective in the confirmation pop-up

Delete → Permanently removes the objective and its history

Drop → Keeps all data but marks the objective as inactive

Drop an objective to retain the objective history but remove it from the scope of the org.
