Linking OKRs in PeopleCues

In cross-functional organizations, objectives often overlap between teams. PeopleCues allows you to link objectives, making collaboration and tracking seamless.

Why Link OKRs?

• Show Dependencies: Clearly highlight when an objective depends on another team’s work.

• Improve Visibility: Dependent teams can view progress and updates directly from the source objective.

• Avoid Duplication: No need to manually recreate objectives just to track them, simply link for reference.

Note: Linking objectives is for visibility only. Linked objectives do not directly contribute to achieve the parent objective like regular Key Results.

How to Link an OKR

1. Identify the Dependency

Find the objective that aligns with or depends on another objective in your organization.

2. Link to the Source Objective

• Open the objective you want to link.

• Click the three dots (⋮) menu next to the objective.

• Select Link to Objective.

3. Link to the Parent Objective

• Go to the objective under which you want the first objective to appear.

• Click the three dots (⋮) menu.

• Select Link Here as a Key Result.

4. Confirmation

Once linked, the objective will automatically update with the latest information from its original source objective.
