Copying Objectives to another Quarter

Not all OKRs are completed within a quarter. The Copy to Quarter feature lets you carry forward unfinished objectives and key results into a future quarter while preserving historical data.

How to Copy an Objective or Key Result

1. Click Copy to quarter from the three-dot menu on the OKR card or objective details page.

2. Select the quarter you want to copy the OKR into.

3. Choose one of the following options:

   • Copy objective only Copies only the objective. Check-ins, comments, and activities are retained.

   • Copy objective and its key results Copies the objective with its first-level KRs, including their check-ins and activity.

   • Copy objective and entire key result tree Copies the objective along with all nested KRs and their associated history.

4. (Optional) Choose whether to exclude achieved KRs when copying objectives with KRs.

5. Click Copy to complete the action.

6. View the copied objective in the selected quarter or from the activity feed of the original OKR.

Copy objectives to another Quarter to keep working and tracking them.

Important Notes

• Objectives and KRs are cloned, not moved, to ensure accurate reporting and auditability of completed work.

• A single objective or KR can only be copied to the next quarter at a time.

• To carry it forward again, repeat the copy action from the newly created OKR.

• The activity feed of the copied OKR includes a link to the original OKR.
