Teams

The Teams feature provides you and your teammates the capability to group your objectives and review them effectively.

Teams can be used to:

  • Group objectives by their functionality.

    • Eg: Engineering team, Product team, Sales / BD team, etc.

  • Track key cross-functional initiatives (especially useful in a matrix hierarchy organisation).

    • Eg: Growth pod, etc.

Create a Team in 10xGoals

Teams can be created in the following two ways:

Quick create via ‘Teams’ tab

Step 1: Add a valid team name and description to ensure people can identify the correct teams.

Step 2: Assign an owner to the team.

Step 3: Add followers to ensure people get notified and automatically follow your team.

While creating new objectives

Step 1: Click on Create Objective button on the top-right of the screen.

Step 2: Click on the Add Team dropdown next to Owner.

Step 3: Type the team name you want to create. Then click on "Create a new team" option. You will see the pop-up as below:

Step 4: Add a valid description to ensure people can identify the correct teams to be added.

Step 5: Add followers to ensure people get notified and automatically follow your team.

Anybody in the org can create a team and choose to be its team owner. A team should have at least one team owner

Teams don’t have any restriction with the upper limit on total number of followers & team owners.

Modify / edit team details (for admins/team owners only)

Step 1: Go to the team page, where you want to make the changes.

Step 2: To modify, click on the 3 dots and proceed to the Manage Team option.

  • A pop-up containing your team details comes up.

Step 3: Edit team name, add/remove team owners, team description, followers from here.
